Youth Ministries

Our Value of Youth - God makes clear in His Word that youth is a very important and crucial time in one's life, and the choices and patterns made in this season can often set a trajectory for the rest of one's life on this earth. This season in a person's life has great potential - both positively and negatively. We reject our culture's belief that youth is a time to live for self, and that a certain measure of rebellion is "normal" and to be expected. We believe that in this season, riches in godliness can be laid hold of, wisdom can be grasped, and God can be glorified. To know wisdom and instruction, to understand words of insight, to receive instruction in wise dealing, in righteousness, justice, and equity; to give prudence to the simple, knowledge and discretion to the youth. Proverbs 1:2-4

As a church, we seek to come alongside the parents of youth, as it is their primary responsibility before God to care for, lead, and train their youth.

We pray with the psalmist, May our sons in their youth be like plants full grown, our daughters like corner pillars cut for the structure of a palace. - Psalm 144:12

Though in our infancy as a church plant we do not yet have a formal ministry to our High School aged youth and their parents, it is in no way a statement of our value of people in these seasons or the responsibility we carry for our God given role in their lives.
